Nine years and growing stronger at Power Passion Purpose
Power Passion Purpose, Inc: Celebrating 9 Years of Healing Women
In the heart of Houston, as flowers blossom, so do the courageous women (and men) of Power Passion Purpose (PPP), planting their own seeds of hope, healing, and independence. This June marks a significant milestone for the organization—nine years of dedicated service, empowering women to rewrite their stories. In a world that needs healing now more than ever, PPP stands as a testament to the profound impact of compassionate, purpose-driven work.
Since its founding in 2015, Power Passion Purpose has been a sanctuary for women who have experienced trauma, violence, abuse, and human trafficking. Their mission is clear: to provide a pathway to self-sufficiency through a comprehensive transitional housing program, essential resources, and dedicated wrap-around services.
A Foundation for New Beginnings
Transformation takes time, and PPP provides the stable ground upon which it can grow. The organization’s success is built on a foundation of compassionate care and trauma-informed services. In the last nine years, they have held five empowerment workshops focused on crucial life skills like healing, financial literacy, and personal development. Recognizing that recovery is a collaborative journey, PPP has recently secured three new community partnerships, expanding access to vital mental health and employment services for the women they serve.
This holistic approach ensures that every woman who walks through their doors is not just housed, but truly supported on her journey to unravel a multi-layered history and step boldly into a life of endless potential.
A Story of Resilience: Meet Jasmine
The impact of PPP’s work is best told through the stories of the women themselves. Take Jasmine, who, after surviving years of trauma, exploitation, and abuse, joined the program this past January. With a personalized action plan in hand, she recently secured her first job in over five years and is now preparing to move into her own apartment.
“Power Passion Purpose gave me a second chance at life,” Jasmine shared. “Now I believe in myself again.”
Jasmine is one of 38 women who have been served by PPP’s programs, each one beginning a new chapter filled with purpose, power, and possibility.

For every mother who finds healing for herself, she is also healing for her children and breaking cycles of trauma within her family tree.
